Beginning My Esthetician Journey with Care and Kindness
My journey to becoming an esthetician began with my own skin. For as long as I can remember, it has been both my greatest challenge and my greatest teacher. In high school, I struggled with hormonal acne that deeply affected my confidence and made me aware of how closely our skin is tied to how we feel about ourselves. Later in life, during perimenopause and menopause, my skin presented a new set of challenges—severe product allergies that triggered hives and eczema. What once felt like frustration slowly transformed into curiosity, compassion, and purpose.
These experiences led me to study skin more deeply, not just as a surface concern but as an essential part of overall wellness. I learned firsthand how sensitive, reactive, and ever-changing our skin can be, and how important it is to treat it with knowledge, patience, and respect. My struggles gave me empathy for others who feel overwhelmed or discouraged by their skin concerns.
Becoming an aesthetician allowed me to turn those personal challenges into something meaningful. My goal is to help others feel comfortable and confident in their own skin by promoting skin health, thoughtful care, and gentle solutions that support the skin rather than fight it.
“I am especially passionate about honoring the beauty of aging. Our skin tells the story of our lives, and aging is not something to fear or hide—it is something to nurture and celebrate. Through my work, I hope to help people embrace healthy, radiant skin at every stage of life and recognize that caring for our skin is ultimately an act of caring for ourselves”
