About me…

It all commenced with sorrow, hardship, and illumination.

For nearly twenty years, I devoted my nursing career to providing compassionate, evidence‑based care. During a period of profound personal grief, I discovered the deeply restorative effects of Acupuncture. The relief and clarity I experienced through this ancient medicine not only supported my own healing but also inspired me to study Traditional Chinese Medicine more fully.

This transformative journey led me to shift my professional focus and immerse myself in the holistic principles of TCM. Today, witnessing the meaningful improvements in my patients’ health continues to affirm my commitment to this path and the therapies I provide.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a graduate degree, Masters of Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization (MAcCH) from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, where I specialized in diagnosis, treatment methods, and Chinese herbal medicine. I am a board‑certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine through the NCCAOM, meeting the highest national standards in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. I am also a Licensed Esthetician in the state of Texas, allowing me to integrate advanced skin health practices into my holistic approach.

Before opening my practice, I served in administrative nursing roles across dozens of clinics in Austin and surrounding communities, focusing on quality control, infection control, and clinical education. Maintaining a clean, safe, and meticulously managed environment remains one of my highest priorities in caring for every patient I serve.
